Privacy & browser storage
Effective October 8, 2026. This notice describes the current public edition of Fjord Journal. Google Analytics is available only after a visitor chooses to allow analytics. The AdSense base script loads Google’s published privacy messages. Auto ads is off and no manual ad units are installed; site approval and live consent testing are pending. Subscriptions are not enabled.
Watchlists on your device
Project and company selections are stored in your browser’s local storage, using follow-ai-money-catalyst-watchlist-v1 and follow-ai-money-company-watchlist-v1. Our watchlist code does not send those selections to a server. They do not sync across browsers or devices. Remove a selection using its follow control; clearing this site’s browser storage removes saved selections. When storage is blocked, selections may last only for the current page session.
Hosting and external services
The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, with access currently restricted by the platform. Hosting and access services may process account information, IP addresses, request logs and device information under their own policies. Their retention periods have not been independently established by this publication.
Market widgets load scripts and embedded content from TradingView. Maps request tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those requests can disclose your IP address and browser information to the provider, and may include referrer information. Providers may use their own storage or cookies; their behavior has not been fully audited. External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices.

Current collection and future changes
The current site has no publisher-operated email signup, account registration or lead-sale form. Google’s AdSense base tag is installed for privacy messaging and future advertising. It connects your browser to Google, which may process device, browser and network information. Google’s messages provide consent choices in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and sale/sharing opt-out choices in supported US states. Applicable controls allow choices to be changed; message delivery and behavior still require live testing. No manual ad units are installed and Auto ads is off. This does not mean that hosting or external providers collect no information. We do not transmit watchlist selections for advertising or lead sales. Any future collection, advertising or sharing must receive an updated disclosure and applicable controls before it starts.
Optional Google Analytics
Approximate geographic reporting is available with basic analytics. If you separately select demographic reporting in Analytics preferences, Google signals may associate visits with eligible signed-in Google accounts and advertising identifiers to provide aggregated age, gender and interests reports. Availability depends on visitor eligibility, consent and Google’s reporting thresholds. Ad personalization remains disabled. Existing basic-analytics consent does not opt you into Google signals; the demographic checkbox is optional and off by default. You can withdraw either choice through Analytics preferences.
With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources and engagement using cookies and device/browser information. Google processes this information under its own policies. We do not send browser watchlist selections, contact emails or account identifiers to Analytics. Analytics is off until you allow it. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice; declining or withdrawing stops future analytics loading. Previously collected data is not automatically deleted. Google privacy policy.
