Interested in republishing a Fjord Journal article? Email editor@fjordjournal.com with the original article URL, your publication and website, the intended use, and any proposed edits or translation. We consider requests individually.

Article-specific terms

For an agreed republication, we will confirm the covered material and terms in writing. These may include Fjord Journal attribution, a link to the original article, permitted edits or translations, publication channels, correction handling, the duration of permission, and whether a fee applies. This page is an invitation to inquire, not a blanket republication license or a promise that a request will be accepted.

Sharing and independent reporting

You may link to our articles. Our existing terms allow brief excerpts with attribution, subject to applicable law. Attribution alone does not grant permission to reproduce protected material in full. Underlying facts can be independently reported; applicable copyright exceptions, public-domain status and existing licenses remain relevant.

AI assistance and rights boundaries

Fjord Journal uses AI assistance in research and writing. We do not claim that every passage generated by AI is copyright-protected. Under U.S. Copyright Office guidance, copyright protection depends on sufficient human authorship; human-written expression and qualifying creative edits or arrangement may be protected. Article-specific arrangements cover only rights we can grant and do not restrict uses allowed by law.

Third-party material and corrections

Source documents, quoted passages, photographs, illustrations, trademarks and other third-party material may have separate rights. Their appearance or citation on Fjord Journal does not grant redistribution rights, and they are not automatically included in an agreement. A text-only republication may be appropriate where image rights do not extend to another publisher.

Agreed republications should preserve factual qualifications and source attribution. Correction and update responsibilities will be addressed in the written terms; please contact us about any material error rather than silently removing its context.
